EuroMillions players urged to check as winning tickets sit unclaimed

A number of lucky winners across the UK are set to become millionaires and they don't even know it yet.

EuroMillions offers players across the UK and Europe are given another chance to win a life-changing amount of money with its twice-weekly draws.

While many players will check the results religiously in the hopes of a gigantic win, some people have actually won huge amounts of money and not yet claimed them. This may be because they forgot to check, or have misplaced their tickets.

According to the National Lottery, there are currently four unclaimed winning EuroMillions tickets in the UK. Three of these are Millionaire Maker wins, meaning ticketholders have each won £1m, and the fourth matched five numbers and a star, resulting in a total win of £254,250.40.

Winners have around six months from the draw date to claim their prizes. If no-one comes forward with the winning tickets before the deadlines, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Here are the details in full for the outstanding winning EuroMillions tickets:

  • £1m winner, drawn on February 3, 2023. Ticket was bought in North Somerset, and prize must be claimed by August 2.
  • £1m winner, drawn on March 31, 2023. Ticket was bought in Warwickshire, and prize must be claimed by September 27.
  • £254,250.40 winner, drawn on April 14, 2023. Ticket was bought in Ipswich, and prize must be claimed by October 11.
  • £1m winner, drawn on April 21, 2023. Ticket was bought in East Riding, Yorkshire, and prize must be claimed by October 18.
