Erling Haaland admits he would go "crazy" if he kept thinking about Dixie Dean's record after another historic night for the Manchester City star.
The Norwegian scored his 35th goal in the 3-0 win over West Ham, which saw him break the record for most goals in a Premier League season, previously held jointly by Alan Shearer and Andy Cole. Haaland has now scored a total of 51 goals in his first campaign in England.
That leaves him 12 short of Dean's record, set almost 100 years ago during his Everton days. City are still in the hunt for three trophies which means Haaland could have a maximum of eight games remaining this term, but his focus is not on bagging more records.
