Erling Haaland and Phil Foden are among six Manchester City players that have been nominated for this year's Ballon d'Or award.
Pep Guardiola's star-studded squad have been recognised for their individual talents as a host of City players are included on the 30-man shortlist for the award. This is the first time that the Ballon d'Or will be decided based on achievements over the course of a season, rather than across a calendar year.
Haaland's nomination is the second time the Norwegian has been included on the shortlist and comes after a stellar season at Borussia Dortmund. The 22-year-old scored a staggering 29 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions for the Black and Yellows.

Foden, the PFA Young Player of the Year, is also nominated for a second time. The England international scored 24 goals and provided 11 assists in 45 appearances for the the Blues last season.
Kevin de Bruyne is also included in the 30-man list after being named in the PFA Team of the Year for his performances last season. The Belgian was the top goalscorer for Guardiola's side in the Premier League with 15 goals, registering eight assists as well.
Joao Cancelo is nominated for the first time after three goals and 10 assists in 52 appearances for City in 2021/22. The full-back was also named in the PFA Team of the Year.
Although De Bruyne scored the most league goals for the Blues, Riyad Mahrez finished as City's top scorer across all competitions last season. The Algerian winger netted 24 times and provided nine assists in his 47 appearances for Guardiola's side, as he is nominated for the fourth time in his career.
The sixth and final nominee for City is Bernardo Silva. Another Blue in the PFA Team of the Year, the Portuguese international scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 50 appearances last season.
From 3pm on Monday, the rankings of the top 30 will slowly be released, until the official gala when the winner will be announced. The 2022 Ballon d’Or ceremony, held in Theatre du Chalet in Paris, will commence at 7:30pm, where the top three will be revealed.
