Mark Epstein, the brother of Jeffrey Epstein, told the FBI he had reason to believe he was "murdered in his jail cell" because he was about to "name names," according to a new report that analyzed the latest tranche of files related to the disgraced financier and abuser.

The Miami Herald highlighted the tip to the FBI, which took place on February 22, 2023. There, Mark Epstein also said that President Donald Trump authorized the "murder." The note did not elaborate further and the outlet was not able to determine immediately to see whether the FBI interviewed Mark Epstein and investigated the claim.
