The 2023 Corvette gets a massive upgrade in power thanks to Lingenfelter. The Corvette makes 700 horsepower (521 kilowatts) and 675 pound-feet (915 Newton-meters) of torque from its 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine. The extra power comes from a supercharger package, but that's not all it offers. From the factory, the Corvette features the 70th Anniversary Package and dual racing stripes, the Z51 Performance Package, the Z51 Performance Suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, and competition sport bucket seats.
The 1965 Corvette has half the power pumping from its 327-cubic-inch V8. While the 2023 C8 puts an eight-speed automatic between the engine and tires, the 1965 Corvette puts a four-speed manual in the driver's palm. It's packed with – for the time – some stellar features like power steering and brakes, tinted glass, and Positraction. It even features an auxiliary hardtop. The numbers-matching Corvette recently underwent a meticulous, three-year, frame-off restoration that adhered to the strict guidelines of the National Corvette Restorers Society.
