A farming family in Co Fermanagh has been bringing joy to people from across the county as they open their sunflower field up to the public.
The Lappin family from Enniskillen have opened up their vegetable farm on the Sligo Road this summer, while raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
James and Esdile Lappin say they love seeing the joy on people’s faces as they walk through the field.

They first opened it up last summer memory of Esdille's brother, Raymond Mavitty. That raised money for the Air Ambulance and this year saw them donate to the cancer charity in memory of her friend Anne Greer.
“We have our own wee farm here where we grow our own vegetables, which isn’t that common in Fermanagh,” Esdille told MyFermanagh.
“It was a great success last year aso we thought we would do it again this year for another charity.
“The response has been great and we have had people coming in every day, especially with the good weather.”
The Co Fermanagh woman added it the natural beauty of the sunflower field was the main attraction for people coming in.
“It really is such a beautiful spot with all the sunflowers and we have a beautiful view over West Fermanagh.
“It’s great for people’s mental health to get out and experience a bit of nature here.
“We have had a lot of families in particular and children really seem to love it too.”
