Sections of a main town centre car park in Enniskillen have reopened after the first phase of works from the local council were completed.
Work on the Quay Lane North car park in the Co Fermanagh town began in September of this year, with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council saying the first phase of work has now been finished.
Work will continue at the town centre car park however, with the second phase to start in early November. This will include work to public footpaths, which will resemble those recently completed as part of the town's Public Realm Scheme.

"Phase 1 of the works at Quay Lane North Car Park, Enniskillen are now complete with the reopening of the Eastern Car Park," a spokesperson for the local council said.
"This area of the car park provides 43 car parking spaces plus 3 disabled spaces.
"Phase 2 will commence at the beginning of November with works to the footpaths which will include the use of natural stone similar to the town centre footpaths which were recently completed as part of the Enniskillen Public Realm Scheme. These works are scheduled to be competed by the end of January 2023.
"Phase 3 of the works, which includes works to improve the drainage, street lighting, kerbing and the resurfacing of the Western Car Park, will be undertaken in January/February 2023.
Speaking about the works, the Chair of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Barry McElduff, said: "The scheme is progressing well and the works completed to date are to be welcomed as a significant enhancement to the area.
"I am confident that when the final two phases are complete, this area will be more accessible and safer for everyone. "
During the Christmas period, the council said that from November 2022 to January 2023, there will be 65 spaces available in the car park.
