England stars went straight to their families after beating Iran 6-2.
Rushing into the stands after the incredible victory, they made it clear their WAGs and children are the people most important to them.
But who are the team’s little superfans – and what kind of parents are their mums and dads? Here’s all you need to know about the squad’s nearest and dearest.
Harry Kane - Three children
Captain Harry had a tender moment with wife Kate Goodland, 29, as well as his two daughters, Ivy, five, and Vivienne Jane, four, following England’s first game.
Fitness coach Kate is a keen user of Instagram, regularly sharing pictures of the Kanes’ family life at home.
On November 10, she shared a pic of their three kids, who also include son Louis, one, wearing matching England football kits with Harry’s number 9 on their backs and the word “daddy” above.
Spurs striker Harry, 29, says childhood sweetheart Kate, keeps him grounded. He added: “If I score a hat-trick, Kate will say, ‘Well done, you can make me a cup of tea when you get home’.”
Jordan Pickford - One child
The goalie, originally from Washington, Tyne and Wear, welcomed son Arlo George, three, with wife Megan Davison in February 2019.
Jordan, 28, and Megan, 26, once shared a funny picture of Arlo in a baby grow that read: “My daddy likes to...‘Get the rave on!’,” a catchphrase associated with the Everton star.
Megan and Jordan met at school, and wed in the Maldives in July with Arlo in attendance.
Arlo’s face is usually blurred in photos shared on Instagram unless in fancy dress.
Proud mum Megan describes her son as “the love of our lives” and is often seen bringing him to games to watch his dad, often in an Everton goalie kit.
Luke Shaw - Two children
Luke and long-term partner Anouska Santos welcomed son Reign London in November 2019, while daughter Storie was born in May.
Anouska, 30, often takes Reign to watch the Manchester United left-back in action and posts pictures on social media – one featured Reign in a shirt with Luke’s number 23 on the back.
During last year’s Euros, Anouska also shared a photo of her and Reign wearing England tops.
In a 2020 interview, Luke said: “My son has completely changed my whole life. He is a joy.”
Harry Maguire - Two children
Harry’s girls may be too young to get a ball past him but their mum Fern, 28, makes sure they always support the Man United defender.
Lillie Saint, three, and Piper Rose, two, were flower girls at their parents’ wedding in France this year and Fern takes them to cheer on Harry, 29, at games in “Daddy” shirts.
They have been together 11 years and Harry has struggled with footie’s impact on family life – missing Piper’s first steps while Covid-bubbling for Euro 2020.
John Stones - One child
Manchester City defender John, 28, could be returning home with more than the World Cup - his partner Olivia Naylor is pregnant with their first baby together, due at the end of December.
The new addition will be John’s second child as he already shares a two-year-old daughter with his ex Millie Savage, while beautician Olivia, 31, has her little boy, three, from a previous relationship.
The pair have been dating for three years since meeting in a nightclub, and are said to be “over the moon” with their impending arrival.
Raheem Sterling - Three children
Having tragically lost his own dad aged two, Chelsea star Raheem, 27, vowed his children would always know they are loved.
Daughter Melody Rose, now 10, was born to Sterling’s ex Melissa Clarke when the footballer was 17, but becoming a dad grounded him. Melody Rose has brothers Thiago, five, and three-year-old Thai-Cruz – who Raheem has with fiancée Paige Milian, 27.
Thiago can be a tease. Raheem said: “When I finish a game and I don’t score, he [Thiago] lets me know that I didn’t – and he will tell me exactly who scores.”
He added: “So I will have to make sure to score, because my son would tell me that I didn’t score for the next four hours.”
Declan Rice - One child
Declan, 23, revealed he had become a father in August by unveiling a tattoo as his team West Ham played Brighton.
The inking on his left arm included his son’s name, Jude, his date of birth and the symbol for his star sign, Leo.
So far he is Declan’s only child with girlfriend of six years Lauren Fryer, 23, who was seen with the baby at the England v Iran game on Monday.
The couple reportedly prefer quiet time at home to lavish parties.
Phil Foden - Two children
The Manchester City star had to grow up quickly when partner Rebecca Cooke gave birth to son Ronnie when they were both 18.
Now three, mischievous Ronnie is the light of his 22-year-old dad’s eye and loves to run around.
Living in the family’s £2million mansion with mum Rebecca and Phil’s parents means there’s always plenty of childcare support at home.
The couple also welcomed a daughter in April last year.
The midfielder has confessed: “You look at things in a different way when you’ve got a kid.”
Callum Wilson - Two children
The Newcastle striker, 30, credits his childhood sweetheart Stacey with his success on the pitch after she urged him to swap fast-food for salads and told him she believed in his dream of playing in the Premier League.
After spending some of his formative years in care – his dad had left his mum to bring up six children alone – Callum is now the proud dad to son Oritse, 10, and daughter Orlagh, five, and says having his own kids forced him to “grow up”.
“I always said I’d provide for my son differently to how I was from my father,” he said.
Kieran Trippier - Three children
Kieran married Charlotte in Cyprus in 2016. The couple have three children: Jacob, five, Esme Rose, two, and a baby boy born in May they have not yet publicly named.
Earlier this year Charlotte, 30, opened up about her difficult third pregnancy to Instagram followers, saying she had only just connected with her bump and had suffered terrible morning sickness.
But the influencer and Newcastle United defender Kieran, 32, now seem to be happy with their brood, and have posed with the kids in hols locations such as Ibiza.
