Energy bills could soar by another £600 in six months as temperatures plunge, families are being warned.

According to one energy consultancy firm, another £629 could be added to bills this October as the cost of living skyrockets.

Cornwall Insights believes families could see their bills shooting up again, meaning they would have doubled in just over a year.
