Emmerdale spoilers for next week: Home Farm baby twist and character exits for good

Emmerdale airs big scenes for a number of characters next week, with baby news, an exit and dramatic events.

There's a wedding for one returning character, which leads to the kidnap of their ex - by a member of their own family.

Elsewhere, and a baby mystery unfolds at Home Farm leading to a joyous discovery for one couple.

A character exits for good

Emmerdale have confirmed Naomi Walters' exit storyline from the ITV soap.

Sources claimed earlier this year that Naomi actress Karene Peter had decided to quit her role on the programme, with the storyline beginning next week as Naomi decides to quit her job at the infamous Woolpack pub.

In scenes airing next week, Victor is sad to see Naomi struggling with money. He convinces her to chat to Vinny and see if she can bag some of the cash he has got. He soon lends her some money, with Naomi taken aback by the gesture.

A delighted Naomi, with the cash now in her hand, is urged by Victor to enjoy the money rather than use it to pay off her debts. She thinks about it for a moment, considering whether to just splurge the money rather than use it for what she really needs to.

Later, she is accused of giving Victor free pints and humiliated, she decides to quit her job and storms out of the pub.

Naomi tells Victor that she is tempted by his suggestion of spending the money and contemplates ditching the village and her family, Charles and Manpreet, in a bid to live her life exactly how she wants to.

Emmerdale has confirmed a new baby twist (ITV)

Emmerdale has confirmed a new baby twist for one village resident, bringing joy to one couple on the ITV soap.

The news leads to the wrong character being questioned over a positive pregnancy test that is found in a bin at Home Farm.

Kim Tate asks Gabby Thomas, the mother of her grandson Thomas, whether she's pregnant following her recent romance with Nicky Miligan.

Gabby was set to wed Nicky recently, only to discover he was actually gay and hiding his real identity from her the whole time they were together.

But Gabby wastes no time in telling Kim she's wrong with her suspicions, and that she is not pregnant. It's soon revealed that Kim's stepdaughter Dawn Fletcher left the pregnancy test in the bin, with Gabby noting how she's seemed under the weather.

Dawn soon confirms her happy news and that she and partner Billy Fletcher are having a baby. As Dawn reveals all to her husband, he's overjoyed and the couple celebrate their news with their loved ones.

Nate kidnap twist

Emmerdale spoilers confirm dramatic scenes (ITV)

Nate gets caught up in a kidnap twist next week, at the hands of his own father Cain Dingle.

Next week on the ITV soap, his ex Tracy slips on a wedding dress and heads down to the local Registry Office in her big return storyline.

But upon hearing that Nate is heading down to the town hall, Moira and Cain are fearing that he's about to do something stupid and fight for custody of Frankie.

The pair race of to stop him, but spot Tracy with an attractive man and are convinced that Nate is actually planning to gatecrash her wedding.

Cain decides to take action and kidnaps his son before he can go inside and knocks him out in the process. But when Nate begins to come back round in the van, Nate is shocked at what they've done...

Dan attacks Lloyd

Emmerdale airs violence next week, as Dan Spencer takes action against creepy new character Lloyd to protect his young daughter Amelia.

Amelia, aged 16, recently started posting tutorial videos on an online app, trying to build up her social media presence. Soon she was gaining subscribers and getting paid by users for content, with many users also sending her messages.

Amelia got talking to some of those following her page, unaware of the dangers that her online profile could bring.

Fans saw Amelia in distress this week as one of her top subscribers was revealed to be an adult man named Lloyd, and not the young girl she believed him to be.

He showed up at the salon where she works leaving her horrified and fearing for her safety. Claiming to be her top subscriber and revealing his chats with her, the vile character soon demanded one-on-one time.

Things soon escalated and Dan vowed to report Lloyd to the police, before he tracked him down and threatened him to stay away.

But next week, spoilers reveal things come to a head after Lloyd refuses to back down and instead makes a police complaint against Dan.

As the week goes on, Amelia is once again left terrified when Lloyd shows up at the church and tries to explain himself.

Dan spots the pair together and races over to warn Lloyd yet again, who remains unapologetic for his behaviour.

Things reach breaking point and Dan snaps, leading to him punching Lloyd - but will he regret his actions?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
