Many Emmerdale fans would love to see Mandy and Paddy get back together.
As Paddy, played by Dominic Brunt, has struggled with his mental health, viewers have seen the former lovers get closer. The Emmerdale characters have been on-and-off over the last few decades.
The pair have shared intimate moments in recent months. As reported by Inside Soap, Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy, has spoken on what the future might hold.

Lisa said: “We are really playing this storyline true to time. Paddy has to get better first.”
The acting star said, Mandy’s priority, like many millions of Emmerdale fans, is for Paddy’s mental health to improve and for the character to get the support he needs. Lisa said: “Sometimes when someone has attempted suicide, their loved ones don’t know what to say to them. But obviously with Mandy and Paddy, they have history, and she sees right through him.
“So when he tells everyone he’s fine, Mandy is the one who will go ‘I know you are not’.
“But as much as Mandy wants to be with Paddy, she knows that him getting well again is the better ending.”
As we've previously reported, Dominic has worked with charitable organisations Andy’s Man Club and The Samaritans for Emmerdale's ongoing storyline. He said: "It’s a huge honour and a great responsibility to be portraying this storyline. It’s an inherent problem in today’s society that most men don’t talk enough about their problems.
"We bottle them up, we don’t want to bother anyone, we become embarrassed, we feel we should be strong and not show weakness. If this story can shine a light on the issue or make even a small change to someone’s outlook or viewpoint, then it will have been worth it."
