Emmerdale's Ethan will be left in shock when he finally finds out about Marcus Dean's secret next week.
Fans of the ITV soap have been speculating that something isn't quite right between the pair, as they desperately try to repair their relationship amid some issues for the couple. Some viewers are convinced Ethan could be having an affair, when he receives a message from a mystery man and later he spots him getting into a stranger's car and fears the worst.
The pair have been having a rough time as of late, after acing drama regarding Ethan's boss Greg, who Ethan reported to their company after he groped his boyfriend Marcus. However, he seems to have got away with it - for now.
Things will turn even trickier for Ethan and Marcus in the coming week but not after the pair finally get some good news.
The pair are delighted when they manage to patch things up, with Ethan particularly thrilled. However, things soon turn difficult once more as it's revealed that Marcus has a secret guilt over something that happened.
Ethan, meanwhile, has plans to propose to Marcus - but he's set for a big shock. Has he found something out, and does it jeopardise the future for the pair, just as things seem to be on the up for the couple once more.
Emmerdale's Executive Producer Jane Hudson recently teased there was lots of drama ahead for the Andersons, including Ethan.
She said: "We’ve got our Anderson family, Charles, Ethan, Naomi and Manpreet who’s with Charles. They've finally got their own home Charles and Manpreet, which is fantastic. And we are going to see Ethan go through quite a journey with Marcus onscreen which is going to result in Ethan being young, free and single, and where will that lead us to?"
She added: "There is a lot in store for the Andersons this year and there is a lot going to be happening for Charles in particular. But I am not going to tell you what that is at the moment, you are gonna have to keep watching as it is happening a bit further on in the year."
It comes after sources claimed that Emmerdale star Darcy Gray, who plays Marcus in the ITV soap, has decided to quit the village. He joined the show last year, but has now already filmed his last scenes and will be leaving the Dales later this month.
