Emmerdale fans were left comparing the soap to Love Island as Wendy and Liam locked lips in tonight's episode.
Things turned steamy for Wendy and Liam tonight as they bonded over his writing award, with the pair getting passionate in the doctors office. Meanwhile, Bernice and Bob got close, too, and shared a near kiss as he flooded her with compliments.
Bob is left feeling guilty by what happened between him and Bernice, whilst passion seems to continue to spark between Liam and Wendy, with the pair set to lock lips again later this week.
Fans were left distracted by one element of the scenes tonight as Wendy and Liam finally gave into their desires and things nearly happened between Bob and Bernice after their drunken wine tasting.
One wrote: "Tonight’s @emmerdale has turned into an episode of love island #Emmerdale," as a second added: "new kinds of vomit have been discovered tonight. F***ing hell! #emmerdale."

Actress Susan Cookson – who plays Wendy – revealed how her character's past and a secret understanding between her and Liam has brought them closer and closer together, leading to their intimacy.
Explaining what might have led to them getting close, Susan told us: "They're work colleagues, they get on, there's a mutual respect as colleagues but I realised the other day, there is a little bit more to Wendy and Liam. He knows about her past with the husband and the drug problem and she went to prison for a year because of her husband.
"There always seems to be confusion with the public that Wendy isn't a qualified nurse but she is, but she qualified under a different name and it was when Russ turned up and she tried to do right thing and hand her notice in, and she told Liam and he said her secret was safe with him. So I think there is a respect between the two of them and an understanding."
It comes after Emmerdale stars Tony Audenshaw and Samantha Giles have teased there could be a new romance on the cards for their characters after the duo nearly kissed during scenes airing this evening.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Samantha explained: "I think she does have genuine feelings for him. She's developed genuine feelings, she develops feelings quite quickly for people because she's quite lonely but they are genuine for Bob."
Tony, who plays Bob, then said: "Yeah, it's hard to say. I think he's always found her really attractive and I think he loves the fact she is so feisty and he loves being told what to do in a way, so yeah. He's always sort of found her attractive and could never have imagined her trying to kiss him. The near kiss stirs the feelings up for him."
