Emmerdale airs trouble for the Dingles next week, as a betrayal against Amelia Spencer and Noah Dingle leads to a possible exit for one character on the ITV soap.
Samson Dingle could be forced to leave the village as he goes too far with his evil plan, and betrays one of his own.
The character has been trying to prove himself recently, after disappointing his loved ones regarding his baby daughter Esther.
Samson slept with fellow teen Amelia last year and she fell pregnant with his child, before giving birth in October.
He refused to have anything to do with his child or helping to raise her, even though his parents wanted to be involved.
Eventually he seemed to come around to the idea of helping to raise Esther, much to the annoyance of his relative and Amelia's partner Noah.
It did seem to viewers though that this was all an act, as recently he seemed to be even more invested after learning Noah had inherited some money from the Tates.
Recently he demanded money from Noah in favour of him keeping a distance, but he goes back on his word next week after a second bribe.
For the third time, Samson will ask for yet more money if Noah wants him to keep a distance - despite him actually spending more time with the baby.
But in betraying Noah he's also betraying Amelia, given he's faking wanting a relationship with their daughter in a cruel twist.
An incident sees Esther rushed to hospital though while in Samson's care, and he gets praised by his loved ones for acting quickly.
Noah fumes over this, and is more annoyed when Samson later visits to check on Esther but it becomes clear he wants more money.
Noah pays off Samson via bank transfer and the minute he receives Noah’s money he revokes his desire to spend time with Esther.
Amelia is devastated by Samson’s change of heart and fears she won't be able to afford childcare for her daughter.
But as she questions whether Noah's money might help out, she is left mortified by Noah’s reaction that she only uses him as a cash machine.
Charity Dingle questions son Noah for making the comment, and he is forced to confess that the inheritance has gone and he’s being blackmailed by Samson.
Samson is soon confronted from all angles by his angry friends and family as the truth comes out, and his family are disgusted with him.
As things come to a head, Samson tries to wriggle off the hook but he’s left shaken when an ashamed Sam tells him to find elsewhere to live.
With nowhere to go, will Samson flee the village or will he manage to fix everything?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
