Emergency services carried out two multi-agency rescue operations on North Ayrshire's coastline over the weekend.
The first incident happened around 1pm on Friday after police received reports of a person being cut off by the tide within Irvine Harbour.
The Ardrossan and Ayr coastguard rescue teams and the RNLI Troon lifeboat were scrambled to the incident and quickly located the casualty who was taken to the safety of the harbour pontoon.
Meanwhile, the Ardrossan team responded to a second callout on Sunday morning after reports of an injured person on the rocks near to Saltcoats Harbour.
They worked alongside the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to safely and successfully stablise the casualty.
The person was then safely transported from the rocks, over challenging terrain, to a nearby ambulance and on to hospital.
The incidents marked the end of a busy week of rescues on Ayrshire's coastline.
Last Wednesday, emergency services swung into action near Portencross after two teenagers were blown out to sea while paddleboarding.
The Largs RNLI team battled through challenging conditions to locate the first paddleboarder, with the help of the coastguard rescue helicopter based at Prestwick.
