Conservative influencer Ashley St Clair who mothered a child with Elon Musk before being cut off from his life reacted to Shivon Zilis' announcement of a sudden break up. Ashley expressed mixed emotions after going through Zilis' statement of being abandoned by Musk in a week and noted that it was kind of 'karmic', though she is a girl's girl and would be there for Shivon if she reached out to her, she said in her Instagram stories.

Zilis and Ashley, however, were not the same to Elon, as he called Shivon his partner for a long time and they share four children, the oldest one being born in 2021.
Reading between the lines of Shivon's social media post, Ashley said it was obvious that Elon Musk had cut her off like he generally does and so the announcement was Shivon's only way to reach Elon Musk. Ashley said it struck as pretty odd that Shivon wrote that she and their children were Elon Musk's respite, as this should not happen. "Children should not be emotional comfort for damaged men," Ashley said. "It should be the other way round, parents should be children's comfort."
Ashley said she felt bad reading Shivon's post because Shivon seemed to be groveling and the post read like a "trauma bond" but she said she understood immediately that Shivon had no other way to communicate with Elon as further communications only happen through attorneys.
Ashley said her understanding of the situation was that it did not happen in a week; there had been moves to separate and disentangle her from his life for a month. But Shivon claimed to be blindsided. Ashley said it was kind of karmic because Shivon pretended to be Grimes' friend but went behind her back to make secret children with Elon. Ashley said Grimes was blindsided by Shivon when her surrogate was giving birth to her and Elon Musk's child while in the same hospital, Shivon was also giving birth to her and Elon's child.

Elon Musk's first wife was Canadian author Justine Wilson. They married in 2000. The couple had six children, although their first son, Nevada Alexander, died of sudden infant death syndrome at 10 weeks old in 2002. They had twins Griffin and Vivian in 2004 and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian in 2006. The marriage ended in 2008.
Soon after their divorce, Musk began dating British actress Talulah Riley. They married in 2010 in Scotland. The relationship ended in divorce in 2012, but the two reconciled and remarried in 2013. Musk filed for divorce again in December 2014 but withdrew the filing. Riley subsequently filed for divorce in 2016.
After Riley, Musk and actor Amber Heard became romantically involved after Heard's marriage to Johnny Depp ended. Their relationship was on-and-off between 2016 and 2018.
