Police are working around the clock to find Elle Edwards's "coward" killer, according to the region's police commissioner.
Merseyside’s Police and Crime Commissioner Emily Spurrell condemned the “utterly despicable and cowardly” shooting on Christmas Eve which killed 26-year-old beautician Elle and wounded four others. People were celebrating the festive season in The Lighthouse Pub in Wallasey Village when a gunman fired multiple shots aiming at the entrance of the venue.
Elle was caught in the crossfire, as detectives say they believe she was not the intended target, and shot in the head. Four other men, aged between 22 and 33 were wounded in the attack.
