Edinburgh residents say they are living in a 'forgotten community'

Edinburgh is world renowned for being a desired destination for visitors from around the world to explore and enjoy.

From the Festival Fringe to the Christmas Market along with its amazing food and drink scene and cultural museums and galleries - the capital really does have it all. But it is amazing to find that the city continues to surprise with new festivals and even areas gaining a higher profile with tourists from the rest of the UK and further afield.

This is exactly what has come to pass with Ratho village being named as one of the top ten up and coming villages in the UK by TripAdvisor for travellers to visit. The hidden gem that lies just a stone's throw away from Edinburgh Airport is described by its residents as being a “sleepy retreat” but also a forgotten community by those that share the same EH postcode.
