A huge emergency response has raced to an Edinburgh hotel after reports of a fire at the city centre accommodation.
Both police and fire crews were seen outside the Haymarket Hub Hotel on Clifton Terrace on Saturday evening (January 7), as a large section of the road was blocked off.
Video taken from the scene has shown four fire engines stationed outside the hotel, with police also positioned at both ends of the street.

Residents from the accommodation were seen standing on Clifton Terrace following the building evacuation, as fire crews worked to extinguish the flames.
Edinburgh Trams have issued an urgent update that their services are currently only running between Haymarket Yards and Edinburgh Airport due to emergency vehicles parked on the tracks.
An update read: "Due to Emergency Vehicles blocking tracks at Haymarket we are short running between Airport and Haymarket Yards."
The cause of the incident is currently unclear.
Edinburgh Live contacted the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for comment.
