Edinburgh Airport has issued important guidance to anyone wishing to see The Queen today.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has been lying in rest in St Giles Cathedral where a service took place on Monday afternoon and tens of thousands of people have been queuing up for hours to pay their respect. But those who still wish to do so, only have until 3pm on Tuesday September 13.
After that, the coffin will be transported to Edinburgh Airport where it will then be flown down to London to lie in state at Westminster Hall before the funeral on Monday.

While Edinburgh Airport remains open and operational, it warned people against coming to the airport to see The Queen. In a statement on Twitter it said: "Members of the public should only travel to the airport today if:
- "You have a flight booked
- "Are picking up or dropping off a passenger
"Various road closures will be in place around Edinburgh and other key routes will be exceptionally busy."
It also adds that there is no space being made available for crowds of people to see the Queen at the airport.
King Charles III and Queen Consort left Edinburgh just after 11am to travel from Edinburgh Airport to Belfast.
This comes after Edinburgh City Council has warned of significant travel disruption in Edinburgh today as The Queen’s coffin is taken from St Giles’ Cathedral to Edinburgh Airport with numerous road closures will be in place along the route from 1pm.
