Eddie Jones insists England rugby are carefully managing Manu Tuilagi through a hectic autumn schedule after naming the destructive Sale centre on the bench for Saturday’s clash with Japan.

Tuilagi has been replaced at outside centre by rookie Guy Porter among five changes as England aim to bounce back from the 30-29 defeat by Argentina that opened the autumn.
