Eddie Hall will have Thor Bjornsson's name tattooed on his body in order to secure rematch

Eddie Hall has confirmed he WILL have Thor Bjornsson's name tattooed on his body in order to secure a rematch with his strongman rival.

The heavyweights settled their long-running rivalry in the boxing ring earlier this month with Bjornsson knocking Hall down twice en-route to a points victory. The Icelander later admitted he has little interest in a second fight but is willing to trade blows again if Hall follows through with their pre-fight bet.

The two giants had agreed that the loser would have the winner's name and "World's Strongest Man" inked on their body. And Hall has confirmed he will go under the needle - as long as he is guaranteed a second shot. "We never had anything formal in writing; I did try to, I reached out to the promoter a couple of times trying to get a zoom call with Thor but it never came to that." he said.

"There is no stipulation as to how big, the colour or where, other than what was said on YouTube. I guess it's going to be used as a tool for the rematch and I would do the same. I wouldn't do the rematch if Thor didn't get he tattoo.

"It will happen, I will do it in my own time. I will get the rematch clause written up before I do and that might take some time, but I'm a man of my word and if it's going to happen, it will happen. I can see the funny side of things at the end of the day. the loss is a tough ting to take but it is what it is."

Hall also confirmed that he will donate $200,000 to a charity of Bjornsson's choice and that he will pay fellow strongman Larry Wheels $10,000 after striking a bet before the fight. "That will all be sorted with the promoter," he said. "The charities will get their money; we just need to wait for people to pay up like the sponsors.

"They've got a month clause for these things to be paid. Everyone will get their money, Larry will get his money - I'm a man of my word. The money to charity is a good thing. The charity will get a lot of money and of course we all get a good laugh out of the consequences."
