Eddie Hall joked that a reporter should "ask his wife" about his stamina ahead of his boxing debut, as his son Max sat inches away from him.
The former world's strongest man winner is set to make his boxing debut tomorrow night against Thor Bjornsson, and appeared at a pre-fight press conference with his rival to promote the bout yesterday. There, he was asked by a reporter who was the fitter of the two, given that Bjornsson has lost more weight going into the fight.
And those in attendance were stunned when, with his son sitting in the seat next to him, he joked that the journalist should "ask his wife" about his stamina. "You should ask my wife about my stamina she'll tell you," he joked, before pointing her out in the crowd and asking "How's my stamina, babe? Speak up, out of ten?"
Bjornsson didn't take kindly to the comment, saying that the pair will find out in the ring who is in better boxing condition before branding him "disgusting". "We'll see on Saturday," the Icelander said. "He likes to talk, brag about his sex life while he's next to his song, it's disgusting. We'll see on Saturday."
Hall insisted that he was "on about wrestling", joking with his son that the comment wasn't as crude as Bjornsson believed it to be. The pair had been asked before the beginning of the press conference to keep vulgarity to a minimum, but when an argument about a previous confrontation got heated, the pair had to be separated as they almost got into on the stage in a profanity-filled exchange.
"I'll step forward mate," Hall shouted at his rival. "If you want to f***ing stand up and do it right now I'll step up and f***ing do it, do you want to go now? I don't give a f*** about the money! You're stepping back, nobody's holding you back."

When Bjornsson was separated from Hall by a member of his team and the press conference's host, Hall joked that he was backing down, before the pair again got in one another's faces and began trading insults again.
"Look at you, you scared little boy," Hall told Bjornsson, who had called him a child in the exchange. "You're acting the hard man, you're a typical bully where your whole life everyone's been scared of you but as soon as someone stands up to you, you s*** yourself."
The pair will finally get to settle their rivalry in the ring tomorrow night at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium after weighing in at a combined weight of over 600lb. The weigh-in result makes it one of the heaviest boxing matches of all time.
