It's been nine years since EastEnders fans last saw actor Tony Discipline on screen - and his life couldn't be more different since quitting the BBC soap.
The 33 year old played Alfie Moon's cheeky cousin Tyler from 2011 and 2013, with his stories largely revolving around his love life and will they-won't they romance with Whitney.
He left Albert Square alongside his on-screen brother Anthony (Matt Lapinkskas) to work on a cruise ship.
Since leaving the soap, Tony has undergone a major transformation and is now saving lives as part of his new job as a firefighter for the London Fire Brigade.
The former soap star, who welcomed his first child in 2021, often posts about his job and shares photos of himself in his uniform.
A month after his daughter Penelope was born, he shared a photo of himself cuddling his baby in his uniform as he wrote: "Little cuddle with my bubba before my nightshift."
Another picture he posted shows him standing next to his colleagues and decked out in his full firefighting gear as he wrote: "Drills."
His fans flocked to comment on his career change, with one writing: "Woiiiiii big up the firemen and women pure respect and love."
While another commented: "Cannot get over the fact you’re a fireman @tonydiscipline x."
A third gushed: "Hot fireman alert."
Being a firefighter is one of Tony's many jobs as he still acts and is also the co-owner of mobile cocktail bar The Tipsy Trailer, which can be hired for weddings and corporate events.
