Dean Gaffney is reportedly going to give I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! another go by signing up for the All Stars series, which is being filmed in South Africa.
The 44-year-old EastEnders actor, who has played Robbie Jackson in the BBC soap since 1993, is keen to return to the jungle some 16 years after he first appeared on the Ant and Dec hosted show.
Back in 2006, Dean went into the Australian jungle but there will be a slightly different feel to this pre-recorded 'Best of' series as they head to South Africa for the first time.
The campmates will be placed in Kruger National Park, which is where the Australian version of the show is shot.
ITV producers will then head back to Murwillumbah in New South Wales later this year with a new bunch of celebrities as the show returns Down Under after a year at Gwrych Castle in North Wales, due to Covid restrictions.
The All Stars version is expected to be aired in the early part of 2023, which will give fans of the show, three helpings of the series in less than two years.
After finishing fifth on the year that Busted star Matt Willis was crowned King of the Jungle, Dean will be hoping to impress in the Best Of series.
A source told The Sun: “Dean is regarded as one of the best contestants the show has ever had. When the All Stars show was first mooted he was a name that everyone wanted to get on board.
“It’s taken some time but he’s now signed on the dotted line and will be on the plane to South Africa with some other show greats. Everyone is chuffed.”
When he arrives in South Africa, Dean is expected to see a number of familiar faces in camp, with boxer Amir Khan, 35, and Loose Women star Gillian McKeith, 62, rumoured to be involved.
The spin-off is also expected to attract Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, 64, Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder, 59, and socialite Lady C, 72, who was embroiled in a bullying row the first time around.
