EastEnders viewers are starting to speculate Keanu Taylor may be killed off in brutal scenes later this year, after a huge lie.
The character is due to wed partner Sharon Watts this year, but the return of his young daughter Peggy and Peggy's grandmother Lisa Fowler recently caused chaos.
Viewers know that a male character will be killed on Christmas Day, with their identity not yet revealed. A flashforward clip shows six females including Sharon in The Queen Vic just as the death happens.
But with Keanu going against Phil Mitchell, the father of his ex and Peggy's mother Louise Mitchell, once again it could seal his fate.
In the latest set of episodes, Lisa blackmailed Keanu into getting her some cash with it revealed her and Louise were apparently having money issues. Lisa was also revealed to have a gambling addiction, and this was why she needed the money desperately.
Fearing he would be denied access to little Peggy, Keanu went ahead and got Lisa the money - but he stole it from Phil.
Keanu and Phil already have a tense relationship given Keanu cheated on Louise with Phil's wife Sharon Watts in 2019, and got her pregnant.
Phil hates Keanu for tearing apart the family and for his treatment of Louise, and now Keanu and Sharon are actually together it hasn't exactly eased the tension.
With Keanu now stealing Phil's money from the club to pay off Lisa, fans are predicting deadly revenge when the truth comes out. Considering this and that Keanu and Sharon constantly hitting the rocks, fans can't help but feel as though Keanu may be at risk.
Keanu has also got a new ally in Reiss who has been keeping Keanu's secrets and helping him at the garage. But something Reiss said this week as he discussed Keanu, Lisa and others left fans questioning if it was foreshadowing Keanu's demise.
Reiss joked about someone being "buttered to death" while holding a knife in the kitchen. Fans also predicted Keanu would soon start stealing from Sharon as well as messing with Phil, leaving them expecting Keanu to die at Christmas on what could be his wedding day to Sharon.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Keanu is going to start skimming off Sharon's business, which will make him a possible Christmas Day victim."
Another tweeted: "Reiss kills keanu at christmas? 'Unless u plan on buttering him to death' ??" as a third added: "Did Keanu steal the money from Peggy’s??? Ahhh Phil will finish him."
It comes after another character was tipped to be the body on the floor this Christmas, after a creepy twist with Stacey Slater and newcomer Theo.
Fans know that Stacey has been uploading pictures and content to a site called Secret Cam, in a bid to raise some extra cash. But Stacey had shared that one client in particular had been desperate to see her face, and had been persistent with her content.
Obsessed Theo has now been revealed as the client asking for her to appear on cam, after he was shown signing in and viewing her content recently. Viewers are now panicked for Stacey, fearing the worst and that Theo might leave her in danger. Not only that, but they think it could lead to dramatic scenes this Christmas.
Could Theo take things too far, leading to Stacey killing him? Might the other ladies also be caught up in dark scenes with the creepy character?
Fans certainly thing so, with many speculating Theo will be the dead body this Christmas. Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their thoughts on him being the person that dies.
One viewer said: "I wonder if the dead body at Christmas is going to be Theo??". Another fan tweeted: "Maybe Theo is the body at Christmas?"
A third fan said: "martins hunch was right it seems Theo is not nice at all could he be the dead body at Christmas," while a fourth fan wrote: "Could Theo be the body at Christmas."
