EastEnders fans have been left devastated as Gray Atkins blamed Chelsea Fox after physically abusing her.
In horror scenes yesterday, Gray slammed Chelsea's hand in a drawer, with Chelsea left reeling by his actions. It is the first time he has physically abused her but he has been subjecting his wife - and the mother of his child - to horrific emotional abuse over the past few months, with fans fearing Chelsea will end up like his late ex Chantelle Atkins.
Gray killed Chantelle in horror scenes a few years back and now fans are convinced the same will happen to Chelsea if she doesn't get out of the house soon, with her hands now in a bandage after what happened.
During tonight's show, Gray was seen tending to Chelsea's injured hands as he appeared to be concerned about her.
"Let me help," he said as Chelsea struggled to get something out the cupboard, "Is your hand hurting? Let me help you wrap it up. Don't be stupid. Is this what was keeping you up last night? You should have told me about it yesterday."
He then told her in shocking scenes that she should "stop being so clumsy", despite him being responsible for what happened to her.
Fans of the BBC One soap took to Twitter to fume over Gray's actions.
"Gray not you gaslighting Chelsea when you trapped her hand in the drawers # eastenders," one wrote, as a second added: "Yes her hand is hurting Gray because YOU trapped it in a draw you evil t**t #EastEnders."
A third penned: "Gray calling Chelsea clumsy mate you trapped her hand in the drawer #EastEnders," with a fourth writing: "'You need to stop being so clumsy,' you literally smashed the drawer into her hand #eastenders."
"Don’t ask silly questions and then gaslight her by calling her clumsy #EastEnders," another added.
Viewers were devastated by what happened with Chelsea and Gray and begged for her to get away from the serial killer.
In scenes yesterday, Gray fumed at Chelsea for making a decision about breastfeeding without consulting him, even though she admitted it was making her ill. "So you just made this decision without talking to me first? It's always about you," he told her.
She insisted to him that she was "trying" but she was left "exhausted" by it and it wasn't working, as Gray flipped and slammed her hand in a nearby open drawer.
