Social care in East Renfrewshire is set to be prioritised to help those in most need as a result of cuts totalling £7 million.
The plan would mean people deemed to be at a lower level of need won’t be able to receive care.
It is part of a new ‘supporting people framework’, expected to be rolled out due to funding challenges, which will go before Integration Joint Board members tomorrow [Wednesday].
