Liam Reardon has opened up about his recent split from Millie Court. The bricklayer from Merthyr and fashion buyer from Essex won Love Island in 2021 but announced their split just a year later.
The break-up came as a surprise to many of their fans as the reality television couple had not long moved in together. Liam recently told OK! that a reconciliation wasn't completely off the cards and now the Welsh star has got candid about their split on Celebs Go Dating. You can read more on this here.
Liam joined the E4 show as a latecomer and made his first appearance on Friday, December 2. Speaking to experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson, Liam explained he was the one who ended things because he was struggling to adjust to his new-found fame and so many changes to his life all at once.

He said: "In the villa, everything was stripped back, you've just got each other, and I fell in love with Millie, for everything that I was seeing and we kind of just went from strength to strength."
Paul then pressed Liam on what happened, to which he responded: "I moved straight from Wales to Essex to be with Millie, leaving all my family and friends. The life I did have is now almost not there."
Asked what his year had been like, Liam explained: "It's been a rollercoaster, I went from a small life in Wales, being a bricklayer - to being catapulted into this new life and I found it difficult.
"You're trying to give 100 percent to each other, you're trying to give 100 percent to yourself, you're trying to give 100 percent to this new life and career and it's hard to juggle everything at once."
"Why did you break up and who broke up with who?" Paul then asked, to which Liam replied: "I instigated it because if we want to be together, I want to be 100 percent together.
"For me to love her, I need to love myself and for the past few months, I've been a bit... I need to find myself a bit again. Just never say never, in the future, we could rekindle."
Liam then said they were both "upset" over the breakup, before adding: "You know it's one of those things, you've had such an amazing experience together and you don't want it to end, it's a tricky one."
"It sounds like there's a lot of love there still for Millie and a lot of respect," Laura said, "100%," Liam responded. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
