Dunelm has long been a homeware haven for shoppers. The retailer, which is hugely popular for its decor and furniture, first opened in 1984 and now has over 170 stores in the UK.
It hasn't always been called Dunelm though, as many fans of the store will already know. When Dunelm first opened its doors it was known as Dunelm Mill, but later ditched the Mill to better "reflect what its customers had called it for years".
The official rebranding happened in 2013 but the change was recently brought to shoppers' attention on social media when Dunelm replied to a tweet about its name. "I'm gonna shock you here, but it's not called Dunelm Mill," wrote one fan on Twitter.

"It's just Dunelm. No Mill at all. I'm not lying either, look it up." Posting the tweet to their 45,000 followers, Dunelm simply wrote: "Dunelm née Mill."
The tweet surprised some who were unaware of the change, while others had no idea it had previously been called Dunelm Mill. Replying to the original tweet, one shopper asked: "Since when?", while another asked: "Wait, what?"
Dunelm isn't the only store to have had a rebrand, as Home Bargains also changed its name in 1995. It had previously been called Home and Bargain, with many shoppers still referring to its old moniker today.
Last year the budget retailer tricked shoppers by announcing it was reverting back to its previous name on April Fool's Day. Posting on its various platforms, Home Bargains shared an image of a new storefront and wrote: "Yes, Home and Bargain is coming back! What do you think of our new logo?"
Many were delighted by the news but pointed out the store will always be Home and Bargain to them, despite Home Bargains being emblazoned above its doors for the last 25 years. "Wahoo you've named it what I call it," wrote one, while another added: "What do you mean coming back? That 'and' was never gone."
