Dundee chiefs are monitoring the weather conditions ahead of tonight's match against Rangers after heavy rainfall this morning.
The Dens Park club remains "optimistic" the match will go ahead as planned despite a deluge of rain.
As of yet it does not appear any unexpected pitch inspection is required.
However, a Dundee statement informed supporters that any further update on the match will be provided on social media.
A club statement read: "Dundee Football Club are currently monitoring the weather conditions due to the recent heavy rainfall.
"As it currently stands the club are optimistic that this evening’s match against Rangers at The Scot Foam Stadium at Dens Park will go ahead as planned.
"If there are any updates or changes regarding tonight’s match the club will update supporters through the club website and social media channels."
A Rangers statement added: "Rangers are in contact with Dundee regarding this evening’s match. We will update supporters as soon as possible should anything change."
Meanwhile, Philippe Clement has revealed he tried to sign Danilo for Club Brugge before the pair were united at Ibrox.
“I knew him when he was at Ajax and I was at Brugge,” he said. “We talked about him at the moment when he was struggling to get into the team at Ajax. He was going to leave in January I think. We had some talks about that. But finally it did not happen."
