Good morning, folks! It's time to bundle up if you haven't already because Met Eireann has issued a chilly forecast for today.
Dublin is set to freeze as temperatures will plummet to as low as -4 degrees tonight. A Status Yellow weather warning for ice is in place for the whole country.
The warning is valid until 12pm today and it reads: "Icy stretches leading to hazardous travelling conditions. Wintry showers continuing. Freezing rain possible in the southwest. Freezing fog patches."

Today will be mostly dry with sunny spells. There will be some mist and fog that may linger with little or no wind. It'll be a cold day with temperatures of just 2 to 4 degrees.
Tonight will be "very cold" with frost and icy stretches. It will be dry with some clear spells initially but the mist will thicken will thicken into dense freezing fog in parts with temperatures hitting the lows of -4 to -2 degrees.
Tomorrow will see some sunny spells but mist or fog will persist across some inland areas. It will be slightly milder with the temperatures of 4 or 5 degrees.
There is no further forecast for Dublin but here's what the national outlook says:
Friday night
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Some frost or ice early in the night across the north and east, before cloud increases feeding in patchy drizzle along southern and western fringes. Lowest temperatures of minus 2 to plus 3 degrees, in light to moderate south to southeast breezes.
Saturday
"Generally dry and cloudy to begin. However, patchy outbreaks of rain will develop, heaviest later. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in mostly moderate southerly winds, fresher along coasts.
Saturday night
"Mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain, heaviest in the south with hill, mist and coastal fog too. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light to moderate southerly breezes."
