Aldi opened their 26th Dublin store in Cabra today, securing 30 permanent jobs for the area.
The new branch is part of a €73 million investment in 11 new stores in the capital over the next five years. which will see the creation of 350 full-time permanent jobs and 550 construction jobs.
The 1,219sqm store has 66 car parking spaces, four electric vehicle charging spaces and ten bike parking spaces. The building will be powered by 100% green electricity and feature solar panels on the roof that will power items such as energy saving lights and Aldi's new chiller fridges.

Speaking at the Cabra store opening, manager Jamie Stephens said: “This new €2.8 million store in Cabra is the latest step in ALDI’s expansion programme and I’m delighted to open our 26th store in Dublin today. This new store, and the 30 new jobs created, will support our ambition to deliver value to the people of Ireland at the locations most convenient to them.

The Cabra store opening hours are:
- Mon to Fri: 09:00 - 22:00
- Sat to Sun: 09:00 - 21:00
