Thousands of students studying in Indian curriculum schools across Dubai will continue learning from home until the end of the academic term after the emirate’s education regulator confirmed an extension of distance learning amid Iran-Israel-US war. The decision, announced by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), comes amid ongoing precautionary measures and wider adjustments to the UAE’s academic calendar.
The move affects schools following Indian boards such as CBSE and ICSE, whose academic year traditionally runs from April to March. Instead of returning physically to classrooms, these institutions will now complete the remainder of the term online before beginning the next academic year in early April.
