Drivers are being urged to plan ahead as four overnight closures will be taking place on the A8 eastbound carriageway.
The A8 eastbound carriageway will be closed for four nights, from Wednesday 27 July for essential carriageway resurfacing works.
The A8 eastbound carriageway between Bargeddie Roundabout (A89) and Carnbroe Junction off slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm until 6am on July 27, 28, August 2, and 3.

The following slip roads will also be closed A8 eastbound Bargeddie Junction off slip road (Showcase Cinema), A8 eastbound Bargeddie Junction on slip road (Showcase Cinema), A8 eastbound Shawhead Junction off slip road, A8 eastbound Shawhead Junction on slip road and A8 eastbound Carnbroe Junction off slip road.
The closures have been scheduled overnight to minimise disruption to traffic. Signed diversion routes will be in place and the road will reopen at 6am each morning.
The works will be carried out by Scottish Road Partnership (SRP) on behalf of Transport Scotland and have been planned in consultation with Police Scotland, Transport Scotland, Traffic Scotland, North Lanarkshire Council and the emergency services.
