A driver ploughed a van into another car leaving the M60 before being arrested by police at the scene on Sunday (June 4).
The Ford transit van had reportedly crashed into the vehicle as it was exiting the motorway at Junction 23 (Snipe Interchange) near Audenshaw however no injuries were reported.
North West Motorway Police went on to share a picture of the van's badly damaged tyre and alleged that the tyre had 'already deteriorated' before the smash and that the driver was 'four times the legal limit'.

They wrote: "The driver of this van crashed into the back of another car leaving the M60 at J23 earlier. It turns out the tyre had already deteriorated prior to this yet the van continued.
"Poor judgement likely down to them being almost four times the legal limit. Thankfully no one was injured!"
