DRI seizes Rs. 1.52cr worth foreign currency from Amritsar and Chandigarh airports, 2 arrested

DRI AMRITSAR Ludhiana Directorate of Revenue Intelligence Punjab India

LUDHIANA: In a major success to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Zonal Unit Ludhiana, its different teams have foiled back to back two significant attempts of smuggling of foreign currency out of India via airports of Punjab.

Foreign currency amounting to more than Rs. 1.52 crore has been seized in both these operations while two arrests have been made so far by DRI.
