Gonzaga reached the Sweet 16 for the eighth consecutive time after triumphing over TCU in the round of 32 on Sunday. Following the Bulldogs' NCAA tournament win, star center Drew Timme was a little too fired up for his postgame interview.
The senior accidentally let loose an in-the-moment expletive on national television after Gonzaga's win over the Horned Frogs, hilariously letting an F-bomb slip without hesitation.
"I'm like, we cannot be the team that f---s this one up," said Timme of Gonzaga's streak of trips to the Sweet 16. "So, just to get it done and not fall under that Hypnotoad's genjutsu or whatever it is, feels good man."
Fortunately, the 2022-23 Bulldogs did not put that streak to rest, and Timme joined some elite company by becoming only the seventh player with nine 20-point games in men’s NCAA tournament history. No player has more.

The senior registered 28 points and provided Gonzaga with eight rebounds on Sunday night, and clearly was stoked about the victory in the aftermath. While he may have slightly fumbled the postgame interview, Timme probably won't be giving it too much thought, as he'll be focused on the looming battle against UCLA in the Sweet 16.
Timme wasn't the only round of 32 winner to make an NSFW gaffe during a postgame interview. FAU's Johnell Davis also failed to catch himself before uttering an F-bomb during his quick chat with Jamie Erdahl after the victory against Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday.
