Guildhall, a top drama school in the UK, has made an official apology to Paapa Essiedu and Michaela Coel for the “appalling and unacceptable” racism they experienced while studying there.
The actors, who starred together in Coel’s groundbreaking drama I May Destroy You, have spoken out numerous times about the racism they were subjected to at the school a decade ago.
