An appeal for information has been issued by police in Downpatrick after a burglary and vehicle theft on Sunday.
Officers received a report at 11.15pm last night, April 17, that keys had been taken from inside the Ballymote Walk property and a grey Mercedes car was stolen.
The vehicle was found a short time later, on fire on the nearby Ballyhornan Road.

PSNI Sergeant Ritchie said: “The owner of the vehicle had been out from approximately 2pm and when they returned home they discovered that the car keys had been taken from inside the property and the car, a grey Mercedes, had been stolen.
"The car was discovered a short time later on fire.
"Anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area, have dash-cam footage or who may have any information that could help with enquiries, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1809 of 17/04/22.
"Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
