Newly-crowned Ulster champions Down take on last season’s beaten finalists Kildare for a place in this year’s All-Ireland U20 Final.
The Lilywhites lost out to Tyrone in Carrick-on-Shannon and the Red Hands were fancied to go close to retaining their title this year.
However, they were turned over by Down in the first round and the Mournemen backed up that performance with a facile win over Monaghan before a brilliant comeback win over Derry in last week’s Ulster Final.
That victory meant that the likes of Odhran Murdock and Oisin Savage, who were outstanding against Derry, couldn’t feature for the seniors, who lost out to Armagh in last Sunday’s Ulster semi-final in Clones.
Kildare edged out Dublin 0-16 to 0-13 after extra-time in last week’s Leinster final with five of their starting team from last year’s All-Ireland final lining out against the Dubs.
