If you bet which member of the Kelce family would be immortalized in the Pro Football Hall of Fame first, it’s highly unlikely you would have chosen Donna Kelce among the wagering options.
Donna’s son Travis Kelce is a standout tight end for the Chiefs, while her older son Jason Kelce is a star center for the Eagles. However, despite never playing a single snap in the NFL, the mom of the star duo has earned a unique sort of prestigious selection ahead of her both sons.
Donna’s split jersey and custom shoes she now famously sported in the days leading up to Super Bowl LVII, took their place on display at the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio on Thursday.
Inside the embroidered No. 8 on the front, Travis wrote a special message that says “Love You Mommy!” along with his signature inside of the No. 7 portion of his No. 87 jersey number. On the backside—the Eagles portion of the jersey—Jason inscribed “Love You Momma!” directly above his signature on the embroidered No. 2 of his No. 62 jersey.
When @tkelce & @JasonKelce became the first brothers to play against each other in a Super Bowl, their mother, @dkelce1, earned national headlines.

Donna Kelce, most notably, made history by becoming the first mother to have sons compete against each other in a Super Bowl. Now, her jersey will just be keeping the spot warm as both of her sons will likely join her in the Pro Football Hall of Fame once their NFL careers are over.
