Donna Defoe has wished her husband Jermain a happy 40th birthday in an adorable social media post.

The couple, who tied the knot earlier this summer in June, are celebrating their first birthday together as husband and wife. The pair wed in a stunning ceremony at Cliveden House in Berkshire, the place where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent the night before their wedding.

Sharing a slew of happy memories on Instagram, Glasgow salon owner Donna captioned her post: "Happy 40th Birthday to my amazing Husband. First birthday as husband and wife and an eternity to go. Thank you for loving me and Olivia the way you do, we love you soo much… I Love You Mr Defoe"
