Dolly Parton Makes Rap Debut With Pitbull Collaboration

Dolly Parton Pitbull Billboard

Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton, the iconic singer-songwriter known for her country roots, has made a surprising foray into the rap genre with her latest single, 'Powerful Women.' The track, featuring Pitbull, has debuted at an impressive No. 4 on Billboard's Rap Digital Song Sales chart, marking Parton's first official rap hit in America.

'Powerful Women' samples Parton's classic hit '9 to 5,' incorporating the familiar chorus into a new rap-infused beat. The song pays homage to her family and co-stars from the film '9 to 5,' adding a fresh twist to the beloved anthem.
