Dolly Parton, 77, leaves little to imagination in very risqué outfit on The One Show

The One Show viewers have been left divided after music legend Dolly Parton appeared on the show this evening.

The Islands In The Stream hitmaker, 77, appeared on the BBC One show alongside singer Rita Ora, as the two powerful women in music gushed over one another while chatting to hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp.

Viewers at home shared their excitement about seeing the music icon on the show, but as she walked out on set, they were left flabbergasted by her outfit choice.

Dolly opted for a leather ensemble, as she rocked some tight leather pants and a plunging top which accentuated her famous assets.

The 9 to 5 chart-topper also wore her blonde locks in a messy updo, which viewers also pointed out was a 'brave' move for the singer, given that The One Show airs at an early time of 7PM.

Taking to Twitter, they shared their reactions as one quipped: "I was very much looking forward to seeing Dolly Parton on the show, but I was prepared to see THAT much of her."

"Woaaah! Dolly Parton is 77 but is still dressing like she's 30. She honestly looks so fabulous though... what an incredible woman. She's so bubbly and nice," another tweeted.

"It's saying a lot when Rita Ora is wearing more clothes than Dolly Parton! Poor Roman doesn't know where to look hahahah," someone else quipped.

While a fourth gushed: "Love Dolly's outfit! She looks astounding."

"OMG Dolly Parton on The One Show!!!! That woman does NOT look her age! Hope I look like her when I'm in my 70's," someone else swooned.

It comes after the Country legend opened up about her secret to staying in shape at 77 - with little to no exercise.

The star, who has been in London in recent days to announce her new album, said the key was also 'good doctors', as well as a low-carb diet.

“I hate exercise like I hated school. I watch my diet the best I can. I try and do low carb but if I see something I want to eat, I eat it, as I am a hog at heart. But exercise, I hate, hate, hate. I just do my diddly squats," she told.

Dolly's new album is due for release on November 17 2023.
