Dog miraculously survives after falling down 30ft cliff at Ness of Sound

A dog has been reunited with his owner after he fell down a 30ft cliff at the Ness of Sound in Lerwick, Shetland.

Socks' owner, Jay McGill, had lost the Border Collie at noon on Saturday, July 16 and had been searching land for five hours. He then contacted the Coastguard for assistance and Coastguard Rescue Teams and Lerwick Lifeboat were sent to the scene.
