The Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS), Sony Group Corp’s (NYSE:SONY) Sony Pictures Networks India, and Viacom18 are companies planning to bid for the rights to the Indian Premier League, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Viacom18 is a joint venture between ViacomCBS Inc (NASDAQ: VIAC) and Reliance Industries Ltd.
