Detectives investigating the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel in Liverpool were today searching land at a golf course in a bid to find the weapon that killed her.
Three weeks on from the death of the schoolgirl, who was shot in her home in Dovecot, Liverpool, on August 22, Merseyside Police said an “extensive land search” was being carried out at West Derby Golf Club. It followed new 'information', the police chief leading the investigation said.
Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen also issued a new appeal for anyone with information to come forward, revealing Olivia wanted to be a teacher or a vet when she got older.
