Dermot O'Leary recounted a Valentine's Day horror story to This Morning viewers as the panel discussed their thoughts on the romantic holiday.
The TV presenter explained how when he was a teenager, on Valentine's Day a seagull ruined his day by defecating on his head.
Dermot explained that when he was 17, he was hoping to date a girl who he said was "way out" of his league.
"I went to one of the local sixth forms, and she went to the tech, which is where you studied art" he recounted.
"So I was waiting for her, and I was thinking, this is it" he joked, "it's the day I'm going to impress her".
"A seagull flew past and..." he said, then was on the verge of swearing before asking Alison if was acceptable to continue.
Giles Brandreth, who was appearing on the show as a guess, quickly jumped in saying "You can't say that word!" but it was very clear what Dermot was saying.
He went on to tell Alison that it was "right on his head", and that the girl he had been hoping to date was "in vision" when the event occurred.
When asked if it ruined the date, Dermot laughed and said "well it didn't go well!".
Whilst Dermot recounted his failed romance in his younger years, guest Giles Brandreth joked to viewers about how chef Rustie Lee, who was also on the show today, had caused some jealousy in his marriage.
He explained how he and Rustie had worked quite closely together, and his wife became "a little suspicious".
"Nothing happened!" he quickly clarified, as Rustie and the presenters laughed at the situation.
