A Placer County Sheriff’s deputy narrowly escaped being hit by an alleged drunk driver during a hit-and-run crash investigation on Friday night (17 July).
The officer was documenting the scene in Loomis at Taylor Road and Horseshoe Bar Road at 10:20pm, with a vehicle involved in the crash pulled over and the three people who were inside standing on the sidewalk.
